Do you offer a warranty?
Absolutely! For Our Arte Wall Beds we have a 2-Years Peace of Mind Warranty.
And for Our Transforms Wall Bed We have 2 YearStructure Warranty + 10 Year Mechanism Warranty!
Is it Safe?
All our Wall beds are certified, attested pieces of furniture for the whole family and safe for children. They have been specifically designed for easy and safe use for everyone in the home.
What Size should I go for?
Wall beds come in single, small double, double, king size, and super king size.

Small doubles are great options when space is tight and there will be only a single person using the bed. It is also common for two or more small double wall beds to be installed in the same room in situations such as grandparents’ homes, cabins, fire stations, and even sleep centres.
What Finish/Colour are available?
The best way to see what colours we have to choose from is to go to the product page for the product you're interested in and next to the product images, you'll see a Colour/Finish option.
What They’re Made Of?
In today’s wall bed market there are a number of wood materials that wall beds are constructed out of.
Four of the main materials used in constructing a wall bed are Particle Board, MDF Board, Plywood, and Solid Wood. Each material has unique qualities that lend themselves to the operation and structure of your wall bed.
What should you get? Horizontal Tilt or Vertical Tilt Wall Bed?
The choice depends on the room’s usage and the amount of available space. When two people sleep in the same bed, a vertical tilt wall bed allows access from either side.
However, if depth or height is limited, a tilt model may be more appropriate. A designer can explain the pros and cons of each option and help you make an informed decision.
What Mechanism is Better? Spring? Pneumatic?
Spring mechanisms are part of the traditional Murphy bed system. They usually consist of a heavy duty compressed steel spring system that may or may not be concealed within the frame of the bed.

The second main type of mechanism used in Murphy bed systems is the pneumatic mechanism. These pneumatic generally utilise either gas or air pressure in their function, and provide generous support when raising and lowering the Murphy bed.

So in conclusion, either system is a great option. There really is no reason to select your wall bed based on one or the other, instead, choose the wallbed style that you like best for your home!
Are the items flat packed?
Almost All of our Murphy Wall Beds products are shipped flat packed.
Do these beds come with a mattress?
The wall beds come with everything required to assemble the bed frame mechanism and do not include mattresses. You may opt to add one of our high quality and specially tailored mattresses with your order, or alternatively use your existing mattress.

Just be reminded that the Maximum thickness of mattress is 18cm (7” inches) For Arte-N Wall Beds and 20cm (7..8” inches) for Transforms Wall Beds.
Does my bed need to be fixed to a wall?
Your wall bed will need to be fixed to a wall, the floor, or both. You can easily install the wall bed yourself on any type of floor or wall, strong enough to hold the frame in place. Unlike with other systems, with our beds you have the flexibility of having your bed attached to the wall, the floor or both.
Can I take the wall bed when I move?
A wall bed can be considered an investment for your home. Not only will you increase the amount of space in the room, but you will also be able to take the bed frame and cabinet with you if you move. Alternatively, you could sell it yourself for a price similar to the affordable purchase price you paid.
Can I remove the bed once installed?
Absolutely! The kits must be fixed to a solid floor, a solid wall or both and you can also attach the frame to any wall studs, giving total flexibility when installing the kit. However you can unscrew the frame, reposition it in another room if necessary or take it with you when moving home.
Can I leave bedding on the bed when not in use?
Yes! Our wall beds are designed to be used with the sheets and blankets remaining on, just like a standard bed. You do not need to remove bedding when closing the wall beds.
How do I arrange replacement parts?
We're really sorry that you have an issue with your product.

After your item has been delivered, please check all the parts before starting the assembly process, and in the case of any issues, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. It is essential that you do not start the assembly process and keep the original packaging.

If the required part is on stock, we will be able to post the part as soon as possible; otherwise, the part will have to be ordered from our manufacturer. The part will be delivered within six weeks from the order date as we state in our Terms and Conditions.

How comfortable is a sofa wall bed?
Sofa beds do tend to feel firmer than sofas, so picking one with a combination of softer cushion types – fibre seat cushions and feather back cushions, for example – will give you the best balance.
Can you sleep on a sofa bed every night?
Although sofa beds are comfy, we wouldn't recommend sleeping on them every night. If you are worried about your back, we recommend a memory foam mattress topper.
Are sofa beds comfortable for everyday use?
On average, a sofa bed, when folded out, is the same size as a queen-sized bed, or, a 2 or 3-seater sofa. This means that sharing the sofa bed as a couple should be both comfortable and spacious and can be used as an everyday piece of furniture.
How long does a sofa bed last?
A Made to Last sofa bed is guaranteed to last you up to 15 years or more. With a low quality sofa bed, the mattress begins to sag after a few years. The mechanism that opens the sofa bed also weakens and begins to wear out, making it more difficult to open and less supportive.
How can I make my sofa sleep more comfortable?
Treat your couch like a mattress by covering it with breathable, moisture-wicking cotton sheets. Don't use throw pillows or couch pillows to sleep on. Use a firm pillow with a removable pillowcase to support your neck while you sleep. Position yourself intentionally.
Do sofas get softer over time?
Brand new sofa cushion with a hardness of 200 Newtons will be extremely hard on day one, however after several weeks of use you will find it start to soften off a little; after several years of use it will have softened considerable compared to when it was brand new.

Do whistler products come assembled?
Whistler products are 90% already assembled, apart from the side tables and unpacking the grates, warming rack and fitting the rotisserie.
Where do I find my model’s manual?
When receiving your BBQ, there will be a User Manual within the box. Alternatively, you can find your product's user manual in the product page.
Can I modify my grill?
Although we understand everyone has different needs, if any modification to a Whistler grill is carried out which alters it from its original, factory design, it will no longer be covered by its warranty.

Once a grill has been modified we, as a company, cannot predict how it will function, or, whether it is safe to use, therefore we do not recommend you modify your Whistler Grill.
Do I need batteries to operate my gas grill?
The Broadway, Tetbury and Cirencester 4 and 6 models are battery powered and therefore require AA batteries, whilst the Bibury and Burford models ignitions are built into the flame control knobs so do not require batteries.
Can I get my grill repaired?
Yes, you can get your grill repaired regardless of whether it's still covered by its warranty or not. We work alongside qualified engineers who are available to fix Whistler products.

If your product is still under warranty this remains free of charge, however if your product is outside of the warranty period or needs to be repaired through personal damage there will be a sensible charge.
Where does the gas supply hose exit a Whistler BBQ?
When standing directly in front of the Whistler grill facing the control panel, the gas connection is on the right hand side, whilst the electric is on the left.
How do I ignite the rear burner?
Due to the British climate, the rear burners can prove to be a little bit tricky to ignite.

However, if you turn the knob clockwise until you feel like the ignition is just about to click in, hold it there for 10 seconds or so and then push the ignition.

Depending on weather conditions, this may take a few times. If this does not work after more than several attempts, please contact your retailer.
Does the Burford range come with a drip tray?
Yes, the Burford and Bibury Ranges have full sized drip trays. The drip trays have been designed to be full length and full depth in order to catch all fat, grease and residue. They slide out from the barbecue, allowing you to scrape all the residue fat off, and then you can clean the remaining with warm soapy water.
What is the purpose of the Flame Tamer?
The flame tamer creates an even distribution of the heat and flames from the burners. It also protects the meat from a raw flame, giving you better even cooking results. The flame tamer forms part of the CE Certificate that comes with all Whistler products.
What are the benefits of infrared burners?
Faster grilling time - Infrared burners heat up very quickly so you can get grilling in no time. Infrared heat is not affected by wind and outdoor influences, and therefore when the heat rays hit your meat you get the full energy.
What size gas bottle do I need so that it sits inside the BBQ?
You can hold a 5kg gas bottle within the cupboard of our freestanding grills, anything larger will have to stand outside BBQ. However, within the Cirencester range we have a gas bottle cabinent available to purchase, that stores and hides up to a 13kg gas bottle.
How long should I preheat my grill for?
You should pre-heat your grill for 10-15 minutes with the lid closed, or, until it reaches around 350 degrees.
What does the BTU rating mean?
The BTU rating stands for the British Thermal Unit, it is a measurement of the total heat output and fuel consumption per hour of all grill burners. It is a fuel efficiency rating, not how hot a grill will get. You can find BTU ratings of our products in their specification in their own bullet points.
What size tank should I use for my Whistler grill?
All of our current full-size propane models are designed for use with standard 20lb propane tanks, however this size does not fit within the unit itself. Our freestanding grills can fit a 5kg gas bottle within the cupboard below.
Do Whistler products come with a gas regulator?
Yes, all of our BBQ models come with a propane push-fit gas regulator and hose.
Will I get a problem with pressure drop on a long run of the gas pipe if I put the double door unit between the grill and the 90 degree storage unit?
You should only ever have pressure drop issues if you're low on gas. Putting a unit between the grill and where you're storing the gas bottle (in this instance the 90 degree corner unit) should not cause any pressure issues.

We provide a long hose alternative to the normal hose so that you can do this, giving you flexibility in the design of your Cirencester Modular Kitchen. (Extra long hose available on optional order)
Do you have natural gas models?
We don't currently do a natural gas grill, nor do our models connect/convert to mains gas. However, we are in the process of certifying (CE Certificate) natural gas specific models ready to launch in 2022!
Can I connect a Whistler grill to an LPG tank?
Due to our grills being designed to work at the pressure of a standard LPG gas cyclinder, and as far as we are aware LPG tanks run at a lower pressure, we do not recommend that our customers connect a Whistler grill to this.
Which side of the grills does the gas and electric come out of?
When standing directly infront of a Whistler grill facing the control panel, the gas connection is on the right hand side, whilst the electric is on the left.
How far away should my BBQ be from my house/deck?
This can vary by property. If your property is made out of wood cladding, or any combustible material, for safety reasons we recommend you place your barbecue at least 1 metre away from the structure. If your property is built of stone or brick, we recommend you keep your barbecue at least 12 inches away from the structure.
Should I cover my grill?
Although Whistler Grills are very durable and built to last, we recommend you protect your grill with a cover. Our high quality covers are included when purchasing from the Burford or Bibury range.

For all other models you can purchase a cover seperately as an accessory, these are available via Often Bought together option.
The Cirencester cover doesn't seem to fit my Cirencester BBQ?
The Cirencester covers are designed to fit over the BBQ's when the side tables are folded down. If you are attempting to assemble it whilst the side tables are up, it will not fit.

Please note, our covers are fitted to protect your product from all weather.
How do I use my rotisserie?
To use the rotisserie correctly, you place the meat carefully onto the bar, holding it in place with the pronged fittings. You then switch on the rear burner, engage the rotisserie bar into the rotisserie motor, before switching the motor on.

This turns the rotisserie automatically. Make sure the piece of meat is not too wide for the cooking area once the lid is down as this will cause rotating issues. Please note, the warming rack will need to be removed when using the rotisserie.
How much weight can the rotisserie hold?
20lb maximum weight limit, but make sure that the BBQ lid can be closed if you choose to cook a big piece of meat.
How much weight can the rotisserie hold?
